With the development of national economy and the enhancement of scientific and technological level, especially the rapid development of computer technology, communication technology, control technology and network technology, intelligent building arises at the historic moment. Currently countries all over the world are actively developing to construct intelligent building. Intelligent building is not just confined to the past office building, such building fields as the hotel , market , house ,etc. have already been the development trend of intelligent building.To hotel, its function is to offer a highly safe, graceful, comfortable, convenient inside environment to guest, and the appearance of the modernized intelligent building, has totally met this kind of demand. Strong intellectual monitoring system hasalready been established in a lot of star hotels now, its modernized degree is very high, but its price is very expensive, and it is not suitable for some medium and small-scale hotel.In order to make the ordinary medium and small-scale hotel not only have intelligent characteristics as for the function, but also meet ordinary consumers' consuming capacity, a intellectual hotel monitoring system which was of low cost and low consumption was designed in this paper.A intellectual hotel monitoring system which was of low cost and low consumption was designed in this paper utilizing single chip technology, fuzzy control technology and multi computer communication technology to realize the supervision of medium and small-scale hotel.The monitoring system designed in this paper could realize the detection and control of the temperature and humidity in the room, detection of the condition of a fire and control of the indoor head lamp. The detection system was mainly composed of the sensor circuit, the A/D conversion circuit, the single chip and the executive unit. The upper computer software worked out by VB6. 0 couldrealize the real-time collection of the data of the guest room environment, the real-time drawing of the data curve, the display of the historical data and the modification of the real-time control parameter, thus realizing the supervision and control of the environment of the guest room.It was very difficult to set up the systematic and accurate mathematic model of the temperature and humidity environment of the guest room and to get very satisfactory control result utilizing the routine control algorithms, so fuzzy control algorithm was employed in this paper to realize the control of the temperature and humidity of the guest room.The design just aimed at several essential functions, so several collecting channels of analog signals and switch signals were reserved in the intelligent terminal of the monitoring system for expansion of the functions.Experimental validation was carried on finally by designing the hardware circuit of the experimental set and carrying on some typical experiments. The design is proved correct and feasible.
