Nowadays, the information system has evolved into distributed system whose complication is increasing consistently. For example, the throughput and the availability of the single server has become a bottleneck. In order to improve system performance and availability, more and more distributed applications adopt the technology of redundant servers, which increases the complication of the system and its management. At the same time, the system evolves according to the change of applied requirement, and this kind of change remains unknown during the design phrase of the system. To satisfy this, dynamic deployment could modify the configuration of the system during runtime. So, it is a research work of general and practical significance to solve the problem of management for distributed system effectively in middleware layer, especially dynamic management, to satisfy the urgent demands of performance, scalability and availability in current distributed applications. The management middleware is lack of dynamic management mechanism. According to the development of the Massive Transaction Processing System, this article puts forward a structure of management middleware and devises a dynamic deployment module basing on CORBA. Then we describe their characteristics and place emphasis on the key points of the management middleware, including the discussion of the object state management, the log management, the technology of automatic maintenance and how to solve three aspects of consistency preservation requirements. The dynamic deployment module in this article has been verified in the Massive Transaction Processing System.
