With the wide application of automatic control system and fault diagnosis system, the validation of the measured sensor data has been becoming more important, so the fault diagnosis for sensor has been becoming very significant and of great value for further research.This paper describes the relationship between condition-based maintenance and fault diagnosis, and analyzes the necessity of fault diagnosisIn real uses, I made the pressure sensor produced by the 49th research Institute of Harbin city as my research object. I have achieved good effects in real uses. For the sake of dealing with large batches of datum produced in the course of manufacturing and testing pressure sensor, I choose the diagnosis detecting method basing on hardware redundancy. From grouping different sensors, judging syncretically datum of special group and synthesizing the pertinence between the data of this group, I find out the abnormal datum. This provides reference to further judge the diagnosis of sensor state in system.At last discusses the puzzles awaited to be solved and the developing direction of sensor fault diagnosis. The paper first summarizes the phytogeny of the sensor fault diagnosis, and then introduces the academic achievements during recent years. Emphasizes on the two methods of sensor fault diagnosis: the method based on observer and the method based on NN. All these methods provide more completed methods for sensors states diagnosis.
