Access Control Modeling Research Based On Network Backup System

With the rapid prevalence of the information innovation. data protection and security problem becomes more and more important The study of related data security technology is increasingly in-depth .The data protection and security backup policy is an important part of the computer security.Role-Based Access Control(RBAC) is a new access control model after Mandatory Access Control(DAC) and Discretionary Access Control(DAC).In RBAC,permissions are associated with rules, and users are members of roles, thereby acquiring the role's permissions. Role-Based Access Control(RBAC), which will lower the burden of authorization management and provide a security policy consistent with the organizing structure of the enterprise. It becomes a main method to resolve the safe access control for enterprise global resource.This thesis studies the realization scheme of network backup technology and the realization method of access control, investigates the basic principle of RBAC, provides the design and realization method,and the RBAC model is used in the network backup system.So,user privilege authority management is implemented conveniently, the modeling method which is oriented objected based on RBAC is proposed .The main contributions of this thesis are presented as the following:1) Introduces some knowledge about network backup, summarizes the resolve scheme of current network backup system.The pivotal technology of network backup is as the following:the data is transferred to the server from client.By the understanding and analysis,a user-defined network transfer protocol is designed to implement the data backup.2)Based on the research and analysis of RBAC model,in the process of the development of network backup system,an object-oriented approach to analyse and design role-based system is implemented. So,an access control model is designed to implement in the data backup system. It's main function is that it can support the management of access control information .Moreover, the model is described with graphic user interface and Unified Modeling Language language(UML).3)The paper summarizes model of RBAC, analyses its defects ,and the thesis puts forward a new framework of access control model.
