Application Of XML In Flight Data Process

With the development of aviation, our country pays more and more attention to Air Traffic Control. At the same time, the amount of aviation telegram is much more bigger than before. The using of telegrams becomes the key part of Air Traffic Control. It becomes very urgent to develop high-quality telegram dealing scheme for Flying Data Process in Air Traffic Control System. Based on the scheme used in the product, this paper gives a kind of telegram decoding scheme. XML and Regular Expression are key part for this scheme. It is related in the following 4 parts: (1) I introduced XML and Regular Expression. Including the advantage of XML, the essential of XML, XML document structure, the principle of XML Parser and the syntax of Regular Expression. Base on the advantages of XML and Regular Expression, I brought forward the applications of those two technologies in Flying Data Process. (2) I related the designing method and key function for an XML Parser based on Document Object Model ( DOM ). It is the foundation for bringing forward a kind of telegram decoding scheme which will use XML Parser. Through experiment, we can find out that the designing method is of real use. (3) Based on the XML Parser related above, I brought forward a kind of telegram decoding scheme which uses XML document to resolve the designing of decoding rule and Regular Expression to put up pattern matching. Through experiment, we can find out that this scheme is of real use. Comparing with the scheme using in the product, the decoding performance of this scheme is better and the error checking is more accurate. After using of Regular Expression in the scheme, the program is more reliable and the code is more concise. (4) I introduced the process of sending and receiving telegram in Air Traffic Control System. Then, I gave the application of XML and Regular Expression in the two process, including: telegram decoding, the expression of decoding result and the assembling of telegram.
