With the development of internet, we can share much information. The proportion of various video frequency on the internet has became much more than before. But the hugeness of video frequency itself limited the transporting speed on the internet. So the compression of video frequency became an important part , the technology of image and video frequency compressing has became the key and core technology of the development of multimedia technology. In a word, the ultimate purpose of image and video compression is to gain better image and video to satisfy the human vision system, bandwidth, and various kinds of users, by compressing it as low as possible.We applied wavelet transforming theory on the video frequency compression in this article, the development of the video frequency compression depends on the research of wavelet image compressions and the increasing of the signals dimension, because of the application background of the image and video frequency compression.. Because of the real time characteristic of the video application, we must have a compositive advisement of the arithmetic's complexity and efficiency . So we simulated the EZW arithmetic and analyzed it's merit and disadvantage based on the wavelet compression of static state image, then we put forward the improved EZW, and compared it with SPIHT. The lifting algorithm and the integer wavelet transforming (IWT) based on it are researched. The algorithm is applied in zero tree wavelet encoding image compressing so that the compressing quality is improved. Besides, we also analyzed the anti-jamming measures. And then we applied it on video frequency compression ulteriorly, constituted 3 dimensions wavelet transform and 3D-SPIHT arithmetic. At last, we analyzed the foreground and mission of the video compression.At last, the research and discussion of wavelet transforming of the video frequency compression technic is a new question, we must follow with the development of the video frequency compression especially the wavelet video...
