Dynamic Service And Distribution System Of Mobile Spatial Information

With the rapid growing of industries of Information Technology(IT) and Geographic Information Systems(GIS), spatial information, an important component of information, has been more and more widely used in sectors of national economy. There is an continuously increasing demand for geographic spatial information in many aspects of GIS. Therefore, it constitutes a common focus in geographic information industry how to collect, process and publish information effectively, and how to reach a highly effecient information processing and management decision by use of information and web technology. Based on participating in the country 863 project, this study analyse some key technologies, and designs a model of dynamic service and distribution system of mobile spatial information. A prototype is also worked out by coding.his study consists of six parts. Chapter 1 discusses the reasons for conducting such a study, the background, the contents and research outcome. Chapter 2 presents the research on spatial information dynamic service and destribution system built on multi-course technology. Chapter 3 introduces developments of quick-search and extraction of huge-amount data. Chapter 4 deals with spatial information web-transmission technology in GIS. Chapter 5, the core of this study, proposes the model of spatial information dynamic service and distribution. A design-flow is also suggested in this part. Chapter 6 summarizes discussion above and advocates some points on this field.This study realizes a system of spatial information dynamic service and distribution. Spatial information, stored in spatial database, can be obtained by grid-index technology, splited and compressed into caches of distributed data. The mobile clients can be notified of acquiring data applied, by instant messages from this system.
