The Research And Implementation Of Info Unit Customization Mechanism In WIIS

With the rapid development of the Internet and its related techonology, World Wide Web has become the most important and richest information resource in the whole world. But when huge volume of information floods in the form of electronic files in front of people, "Information Overload" and "Information Labyrinth" have brought more and more serious problems. Therefore, we urgently need some programmes to meet the personalized requirements of various people. These programes will help us find and use the exact information data rapidly.So based on the studies of key technologies of WWW information integration and the InfoUnit model, we designed a WWW Information Integration System (Wâ…¡S). This system can deal with the different HTML pages with the InfoUnit model, including web page parsing, InfoUnit extraction, web page recomposition, and personalized customization. Moreover, the basal InfoUnits can be integrated and translated into the new HTML pages to publish. With the system users can obtain, restructure, analyse, reuse the information from the Web freely and efficiently.This thesis designs the Wâ…¡S system in every particular, shows the further research on the InfoUnit customization mechanism and describes the implementation of the web page recomposition module and the personalized customization module in detail also.
