With rapaid development and widly used of network, people own much resource and they pay much attention to how to get such resource what they want from network easy and quickly. On the one hand with the help of Search engine, we can find information efficiency, on the other hand with the help of download software we can save this information on our local disk quickly. Because of speed of download influence speed of getting material so that people want download software more quick than before, the need of people accelerate the improvement of download technology and born of new download technology.After detailed research on popular download technology, the paper puts forward a download model based on multi-agents cooperation. Soft Agent is the product of AI and network technology. Agent is a soft entity with autonomy, responsiveness, proactiveness, social ability. The model fully used the social ability of multi-agent system. When an Agent wants to perform a download task, First it can ask other Agents for help, then it choice several suitable Agents based on the download speed between the website and Agent, Agent and Agent, their data resource,Finally it can distribute task to these Agents. Multi-agents execute their task and transfer downloaded data to the request Agent.Aiming to the character of model, naming server, communication server, mirror server, download Agent, communication language ofmulti-agent are designed. We use Vb.Net language to realize the model. We detailed measure the stability and download speed under the environment of Ethernet.The result of experience shows it is better than the same kind of popular download soft.The article is divided into 5 chapters:Chapter 1—introduction:The fundamental theory of download, network protocol and ordinary used download accelerating technology is introduced.
