Many textbooks for children had appeared from Zhou Dynasty to Han Dynasty. Yet, only Ji Jiu Pian (急就篇 ) was come down nowadays, which writer was thought as Shi You. It was written about B.C.40, from which has been over two thousand. Many scholars had remarked it, but only the annotations of Yan Shigu in Tang Dynasty and Wang Yinglin in Song Dynasty can be seen now, in which the annotation of Yan is concision and that of Wang is details.The paper aims at the annotation of Wang Yinglin and other correlative points. It falls into three parts. The first part introduces the contents and values of Ji Jiu Pian (急就篇 ) and analyzes its editions. The second part summarizes Wang Yinglin's achievements in teaching children and explains the reason of his works in teaching children. While Wang Yinglin payed attention to not only great works but also Ji Jiu Pian (急就篇 ) , which is not by chance. We emphasize on studying the annotation of Wang Yinglin and summarize his principles and methods in annotating. As we know, Wang Ying Lin is a great scholar in textual research. When he annotated Ji Jiu Pian (急就篇) , he was good at textual research and did not forget using other ways. At the same time, he quoted many ancient books when annotating, in which specialties, manners and functions showed his originality. At last, the values and shortages were discussed about the annotation to help to tidy up all ancient books.
