In recent years, fuzzy control has become an important direction of intelligent control theory. The merit of fuzzy control is that it has very good adaptability and robustness for complicated factory process whose mathematical mode is built inconveniently or it is impossible to be built. The sliding mode which is brought in 50'g means that the state of the system can automatically slide to the target of control along the sliding plane and it is not affected by the change of the parameter and the outside disturbance when it is getting to the sliding plane. Its flaw is that.after the state of the system getting to the sliding plane, it can also produce high-frequency chattering .This paper makes some studies for sliding mode control and combines fuzzy controller and sliding mode controller. On the basis of the fuzzy logic, an adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control architecture is developed for a class of nonlinear dynamic systems. In the proceducc , the controller is composed of fuzzy approximate controller(FAC) and fuzzy sliding mode controller(FSMC). The FAC is used to approximate the optimal controller globally, and the FSMC is designed to compensate the uncertainties and to attenuate the external disturbances. Global asymptotic stability of the whole closed system is obtained in the Lyapunov Sense , with tracking errors convergencing to a neighborhood of zero. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
