With the rapid development of communication technology, the communication systems become more complex. In the research and development of communication systems, in order to improve design efficiency and to reduce the cost of hardware implementation, the analysis and simulation with the help of various simulation tools become necessary. Due to the importance of the communication coding, the selection of coding methods and coding parameters, and the generation and performance evaluation of the required codes are essential to the communication system design. Therefore, this thesis aims at designing and realizing a web platform for communication coding based on ASP-COM/SVG techniques.Based on the requirements of on-line generation of the communication codes and their applications, this thesis firstly discusses the system architecture and functionality of the web platform for communication coding based on ASP-COM/SVG techniques. Then, overall design related to system functions, ASP components, database and system security are presented.Next, several key techniques in system realization are discussed in details, i. e. (1) details in realizing the ASP component, including ASP component type selection, thread type selection, interface design, data types transform and scope of effect; (2) realization of some major ASP pages, including the ASP components, file management and database technology; (3) SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) which is a hotspot of the web graphics, and its implementation details in the web platform; and (4) two illustrative coding modules, i.e. small/large set of Kasami sequences.Then, concerning the system testing, experiment results from local testing, on-line testing and stress testing of the ASP components and the web platform are given by considering the specialty of ASP components. Finally, the obtained testing results are analyzed synthetically.
