Research Into The Interface Design Of Web-based Course Based On The Visual Perception Theory

The web-course interface is the mutual channel between learners and web-course. The representation form of objects on the interface will influence the result and efficiency that learners obtain information directly. This thesis proceeds from studying the basic characteristics of human's visual perception, and mainly probes into the problem of information present on web-course interface. At first, the thesis summaries visual perception theories, and defines relations of perception to consciousness and to attention, moreover analyses the basic laws of visual perception. Based on these theories, the thesis probes into representation forms and arrangement designing of web-course interface information entirely, and proposes some principles of representation and arrangement. And then, the thesis discusses different interface elements'design based on human's visual perception characteristics in detail. At the end of this thesis, some experiments have been made to prove these designing theories taking the text information on web-course interface as example.
