Electrical Capacitance Tomography(ECT) is a kind of new technology of measuring parameters of multi-component flow. Three-dimensional data field visualization is the theory, method and technology about how to convert scientific computation processes and results into graph and image using computer graphics and image processing technology,and then display them on screen so as to support the interactively processing. In this paper, we aimed at the widely used oil water liquid-liquid 2-phase flow system in the oil industry. Marching Cubes algorithm is used to display the process of flowing and variation on screen using 1-dimensional projection data detected by electrical capacitance sensors in discrete time and the sensitivity distribution of different point (x,y) in the sensor is used as prior data.In the paper, we first analyzed the principle of the sensors in ECT system, the working principle of the system and the field meshing based on finite element model as well as the calculation of sensitivity filed. On the basis of the analysis, we replace every solid element of the MC algorithm by one element of gray level matrix; the iso-value surface image of the solid elements can be constructed by a series of connected triangular facets; The contour lines of the adjacent two cross section image are connected by using the Maximum Volume Method, and then We use the principle of retina time delay to implement the visualization of three-dimensional data field for ECT system.We use the methods mentioned above in the analysis of oil-water two-phase flow in circular pip-line. Satisfying result is obtained in computer simulation experiment. By the visualization of the oil-water 2-phase flow in the industrial site, we can convert the measured data into image, and change the black-box system into transparent system. We can find the underlying regularity from magnitude data so as to provide effective and visual data for industrial measure and decision of control.
