Flow imaging is a new technique delevoped rapidly in recent years, which has great developmental potential and wide industial application prospect. Having many distinct advantages such as low cost, wide application field, simple structure, non-invade and better safety, Electrical Capacitance Tomography(ECT) has being the most popular research direction and the main development in flow imaging technique. There is still a lot of work to be done before practical use of the technique. The object of this dissertation is on the research of the electrical capacitance system tomography with 8-electrode for measuring water content of oil-water two-component flow and imaging its section. The topics studied are: modeling and analyze using Finite Element Method, analyze and computation of sensitivity field, develop the small capacitance measurement circuit, image reconstruction of the discrete phase distribution, concentration measurement. Our concrete research content concludes: Introduce the background and significance of our research, analyze and comment on the home-abroad actuality and development of two-component flow and flow Tomography technology, and propose our main research content; Introduce the principle and setup of our lectrical Capacitance Tomography System for Section Imaging and Water Content Measurement of Oil Water Two-Component Flow; On the basis of establishing the mathematical model of our system, obtain the digital solution of the system sensor capacitance sensitive field distribution; Research the system of the sensor capacitance measurement and acquisition, which mainly includes data acquisition and control of multi-channel, capacitance/voltage transformer, A/D transformer, and communication interface; Describe the five system functions of file, finite element analysis, pixel divide, system calibration, measurement, image reconstruction, and help. Carry through the experiment of image reconstruction and water content measurement.
