In recent years, kinetic analysis becomes more important in graphic management and computer visual, it can detect, identify , trace persons and 3D reconstruction from kinetic pictures and person's movement. The famous Olympic Games will be held in 2008 in Beijing, the Chinese capital, To hold a most excellent Olympic Games of science and technology, numeric Olympic Games, a new concept, was proposed. It becomes a very important thing to supervise and train the athletes scientifically. Kinetic analysis system deals with pictures shot by CCD cameras. After removing background, using joint detecting algorithm to detect joints and reconstructing joints'coordinates of two dimensions in three dimensions space. Parameters got are applied in kinetic analysis. According to the principle of stereo vision, this paper presents a three-dimensional movement measurement system, based on CCD cameras. First of all, the paper discuss the principle and method of the kinetic analysis, collection of the kinetic images, Smoothing of the kinetic images, Enhancement of the kinetic images and Camera calibration. Camera calibration is a very important part in 3D reconstruction. In camera calibration, refer to the researcher——Zhengyou Zhang who propose a flexible new technique to easily calibrate a camera, by a nonlinear refinement we can obtain internal and external parameters. Then we can figure out the 3D coordinates of human key points based on their 2D coordinates, the camera's parameters and the maximum likelihood estimation(MLE) arithmetic.
