With the development of the computer and the communication technology, the application of the computer in the field of telecom is more abroad. The embedded information terminal, such as mobile telephone and PDA, is a good example of the computer's application in the field of the wireless communication. These devices normally need the wireless function to implement some service, such as communication, sending message service, the property control of SIM, which need the support of the wireless communication platform based on the computer. The wireless communication platform is the key technology of the communication between the wireless application of the embedded system and the wireless network. All kinds of the wireless services are usually implemented on the embedded system, which becomes a trend. With the development of the wireless technology and the increase of the categories of the wireless service, the wireless applications, that oriented client, are more and more complicated. Therefore, the kernel technology of the wireless application is the implementation of independency between all kinds of wireless applications and the communication standards, and between all kinds of wireless services and the wireless communication platform. However, the framework of the wireless communication platforms are almost simple not portable. In order to implement all kinds of wireless service, all kinds of wireless applications need to be implemented in each kind of wireless platforms, which make the interfaces between the application and the wireless platform more various. So the research on the general wireless communication is very important. This paper analyses the technology characteristic of the wireless communication platform, expounds the design requirement and framework of the embedded wireless communication platform, designs an embedded wireless communication platform called Wireless-Platform, and implements the steady and effective communication between the wireless channels and the wireless communication which are independency between all kinds of the wireless application and the wireless communication platform. This paper detailedly expounds the design and implementation of the server of telecom service, the communication, the abstract interfaces of the application, and the IO interfaces in Wireless-Platform. With the design of the parse of the wireless commands, the cache of the wireless data, the queue of the wireless commands and the notify message of the wireless application, some key technologies, such as wireless parallel communication, the extendable modules and the cache of data, are solved. The test server is proposed which simulates the wireless operation environment and fasts the development of wireless software system. Wireless-Platform consists of some modules, such as the process of the wireless communication commands, the server of the wireless service, the cache of data and the process of commands, the user interfaces, exceptional handle and the test server. Wireless-Platform is logical in framework, is oriented the embedded field, is steady in the performance, is applied and powerful. At last, the suggestion on the improvement of Wireless-Platform is proposed.
