According to the development of technology, it is a problem to resolve that data can share among the scientists. In the geography field of China, the problem must be resolved as soon as possible. So Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China set up the project named "Data-Sharing Network of China Earth System Science". The data in the network are more centralized, more comprehensive than that data for their own. As a result, more people can benefit from them. So it is useful to the research of data sharing method. Feature is a kind of geography basic data; it is discussed firstly in the article, because real world or abstracted entity can be described by it and it is the base of ability of data sharing in the network. WFS (Web Feature Server) can be applied to achieve the data sharing based on the Feature. By defining a group of type of request and response, WFS can get some Features, whose stored media may be different. Furthermore, we will discuss two problems further during using WFS. One is that the request and response are indigestible for the end-user. Another is the lack of managing and feedback for the end-user. A method is discussed in the article that apply to WFS is implemented based on WS-Resource method. The application is Client/Server structure, which server is responsible for handling the request and response, managing client, and sustaining the collaboration. Client makes user manipulate the data of Feature by providing the graph mode. From it, we draw a conclusion that the method can resolve the two problems. Apart from this, the application can prove the usability of the WS-Resource method. As the trend of the Web Service in the further, it can improve the interoperality of services, and can provide the cooperated ability, which is the base of Grid Service. The research in the article gives us some useful experiences, and provides a technical preparation for the framework applying to the whole network in the future.
