PXA250 Software Emulator's Design And Implmention

With the development of IT technology, embedded system had been applied in out lives widely. From somethings such as mobile phone, camera and printer, we could see many examples in which embed system are applied. In embedded system, embedded processor play a very importand role, in recent years, embedded processor had been developed from the oringal 8 bit to 32 bit now. In embedded processor, ARM processor is the main processor been used now which was developed by ARM company from 90th last centry. In 2002, Intel provide market with a new apply processor which is now used in mobile communication teminal.In the development for embedded system, the development of hardware is often later than development of software, because of the reason; the embedded system scheduler is often influenced. The instruction emulator based on specficed processor is to resolve the question. The software is initially developed on the instruction emulator and then ported to target processor. With the tecenology of instruction emulator, it increases the speed of project development. However the cost of instruction emulator is so high so some embedded system developer and embedded system learner could not use instruction emulator to develop or to leran, this cause the embedded system tecenoloy's development and education.Based on the above reason, the document discusses how to design and implement PXA250 software emulator. At first, the paper analysises and summarizes the ARM processor's architecture, ARM instruction, PXA250 processor etc. and then discuss how to design and implement PXA250 software emulator.
