The part 1 of the article illustrate firstly about the definition of the magazine and the social function of it and the situation of the development of it. Secondly introduce simply about the trend of the development of the magazines of the world. Next give a special discussion on positive and negative effects on the development of the Chinese magazine industry that brought by the Chinese new membership of the WTO. And based on it, make a optimistic forecast about the development of the Chinese magazine industry in the future. The part 2 of the article, the main body of the article, discuss and analyze in detail, that means the discussion and the analyze more further, more practicable, all kinds of problems that the Chinese magazine industry faced on the key stage of the process of becoming one part of the marketing economy, which based on the brief illustration about the quality of the Chinese magazines by The General Administration of Press and the Publication of The P. R. China. Conclude the rules from the theory and the practice of the famous magazine of the world, and look for the solutions of the problems. This part of the article use the method of the combinations of the illustration of the theory and the analyze of the real cases, and note the advanced experience of the international magazine industry by comparing it with the Chinese magazine industry, and point out the bottle-neck that Chinese magazine industry are going through now and the way to get the breakthrough. The problems and the solutions are discussed mainly from the aspects as following: the construction of a good brand, the creation of the characters of a magazine, the establishment of the multiple media, the improvement of the influence on the readers, the management of combined enterprises, and the collocation of the resource of the publishing.
