Reserch Of Volume Management Technology In Computer Supported Collaborative Design

As an important branch of CSCW, Collaborative Design emphasizes on group-working style based on effective communication and collaboration. It allows multi-group participates in a single project by using computer. A complex task is usually divided into some mini tasks, each of which is in charge of different group.Because the design process is repeated incessantly, any volume putted in formally can be modified, so a convenient, effective volume management of CSCD is important. Volume record not only the idea in design process, transformation of design result, but also ensure the retroactive property of design process. So the volume management is a important problem all along.The thesis study the characteristic of volume management in the cooperate design, analyse key issue of volume management. It gives the model of volume management in the cooperate design and the content of volume management such as the volume category, storage, build, submission, work and history. After the theory research, the system adopts the B/S structure and realizes it in the .NET SDK.The structure is following:Section 1: introduce the conception and development of CSCW. Also it gives the concept and characteristics of CSCW design.Section 2: it describes the desire of CSCD based on survey. Then it shows the structure of CSCD and system software.Section 3: it shows the research and theoretical analysis. It gives the volume model and volume content.Section 4: It describes the system modulation and database design.Section 5: It introduces the kernel technique and realization.
