How to connect the embedded device with the network is a research focus all over the world. While by the means of embedding a Web server in the embedded device is one of the frequently used techniques. The video monitor has been limited to local place or connected with network by the PC for many years. Connecting the monitor devices with network and miniaturizing them is an obvious development tendency. The Embedded IP Camera is the new fruit in video supervision field and if it can meet the demand of the users is mostly depend on that if it has a stable, an efficient, a safe Embedded Web Server(EWS). The basic demands include looking at the remote video record, knowing the real-time status of the system, monitoring, diagnosing and configuring the IP camera remotely whenever or wherever the users are.A single thread httpd EWS aimed at the video supervision application is realized based on the S3C2510+uClinux platform which is a IP camera development platform and some dynamic techniques such as CGI, JavaScript, ActiveX are used to complete the controller to remote IP camera and look at the video record. This work is accomplished based on the WIS GO7007SB IPCAM SDK. At the beginning of this thesis, some related techniques are deep researched including the system architecture and the working process of the EWS. the development, compiling, transplant of application in the uClinux, the principle of TCP/IP protocol and HTTP protocol which are the communication protocols in the Embedded Internet, realization process of the dynamic communication between Browser and Server etc. After that, some realizations about the EWS are designed including the working mode of Web Server, the management of data storage, The safety of Web Server, the methods to communicate with Web Server in order to embed a EWS in the IP camera and control the IP camera by the EWS. Next, a few key realization techniques are analyzed , part of them is companied with the CGI source code or flowchart .In the end, the process of debug and transplant for httpd application is given.The work of this paper does some practice on how to connect the video...
