This paper worked on two types of high-stability and high-performance Er3+-doped fiber laser. One DBR Er3+-doped fiber laser of high output power and high wavelength stability was developed. Its gain medium was 2.57m long Er3+-doped fiber of high erbium concentration. When it was pumped by 980nm laser-diode, the output spectral bandwidth was measured as 0.2nm by 3dB and 0.4nm by 25dB at 1550nm.The max output power was measured as 20mW. Its power stability was ±0. 01dB, side mode suppression ratio was 60dB, and the stability of output wavelength was 0.01dB (Confined by the precision of OPM). The laser had a threshold of 8.6mW and a slope efficiency of 17.1 %. Anther is a new-style high-performance ring wavelength-tunable fiber bragg grating laser. The laser used 980nm LD as pump source and 10.8m new-style gain flatting erbium-doped fiber as gain medium. Precisely locked to the ITU-T wavelength grid with the stability of 0.01nm using tunable fiber Bragg grating is demonstrated。The tuning range of 41nm(1528nm~1569nm) , linewidth in 3dB<0.08nm and in 25dB<0.2nm, edge-mode suppression ratio>60dB have been achieved. The maximum output power was 46.94 mW and the stability of power is better than ±0.02dB,The threshold and slope efficiency of laser were 7.3 mW and 39.75% .The output power of fiber ring laser influenced by difference split ratio of output couplers or different length of Er-doped fiber is discussed.
