The content recommended of this paper is how to design and implement theERP system in KeHua Welding and Cutting iquipment Manufacturing CO.LTD.ERP──Enterprise Resource Planning , is based on the informationtechnology. It offers the management level and also the employee a platform to make decisions bya systematic management. ERP system combines information technologyand advanced management. It becomes the moden enterprises' model. Itreflects the enterprises' requirement for the resourses and the creation of themaximization social wealth. It becomes the footstone of the enterprises ininformation age.The characteristic of our system is full functions, advanced, extendable,humanization and safty. The system is mainly divided by 10 parts. they arefinancial management, planning management, salesmanagement,merchandising management, materials management,production dispatching management, equipment management, qualitycontrol, human resource management, security controlling. It can supplythe basic need of the company. As a manufacturing company, BOM ( Bill ofmaterial) and PP ( Production Planning) is very important to KeHuaWelding and Cutting iquipment Manufacturing CO. LTD. And also as a 4direct provider, its Financial Accounting module must be very clear andeasy to check. According to the requirement we put a strong emphasis onPP management and Financial Accounting management and also the stockcontrol.The designment of the system use the OOAD way. It calls Object Orientedanalysis and Designment. traditional structured analysis and designment isa linear process. therefore, traditional structured analysis and designmentneeds the users offer a complete requirement of their business need. It alsoneed the full data and criterion. It is hard to fit for requirement of theproduction automation. Because it is based on the process, it is poor inextension and the overlap.As a enterprises' large ERP system, it has a lot of requirements and complexprocess. We must know well about its flow of work, then analyse anddesign it. Using UML (unified modeling language) to design and createviews is a better way. UML is an indispensable tool in Object Orientedanalysis and Designment. It is well-defined and easy to express andpowerful modeling language. It has new ideas of software engineering field.And it is not only work in Object Oriented analysis and Designment, butalso in the overall process of the software development.Because of the particularity of the financial system, it is restricted by thenational standard. When we design the financial system, we can consult thenational standard directly. So we didn't talk a lot on the national standardaction. We put the requirement of the company in the first place, andanalyse and design the requirement for first. We just introduce the flow ofwork once when there is repeated flow. For example the checking-out ,there are mensal checking-out and yearly checking-out. They are same infunctions, so we just describe one point. Using the flow chart in UML isvery clear and easy to understand , we didn' t explain the flow charts indetail.The datum of financial system is various and report forms also various andcomplex. So when we design the database, we must consider this situation.We must build a lot of tables, and consider the relations of the tables. Weuse Power Designer to build database model. It is a case tool. We cananalyse and design the information management system easily. We canuse Power Designer create data flow chart, notion data model and physicaldata model. It can create the application for the client of development tools.It also can make structural model for data warehouse, or control the teamdesignment model.When we design the database. We consider that as a enterprise's ERPsystem, it has a mass of informations. So we create some views for thecommons. It will make the seeking rapidity.In system development, we use the (SCM) software configurationmanagement. Before development, wo planned the whole process. And weuse version control tools to help our development. With the daily building...
