The Study Of The Alterable Included Angle Chain

Chain code techniques are widely used in the study and using of the image for they preserve information and allow considerable data reduction. A chain code that is called alterable included angle chain is invariable under translation and rotation and zooms and may be invariant under mirroring transformation, so it is a special advantage and application in image recognition and match.In the paper, the definition of alterable included angle chain is proposed for the first time. And the paper also gives the characters of the chain and the algorithm to achieve the chain code. According to definition and some characters of vertex chain code, transformation between vertex chain code and alterable included angle chain is discussed. As a result, the image can be reconstructed from the alterable included angle chain.
