Research On Data Mining Based On Rough Set And Its Application In System Of Quality Inspection

Data Mining (DM) is the process of discovering interesting knowledge from large amounts of Data stored in Databases, Data Warehouses and other information repositories. Since the theory of Rough Set was presented in 1980s, scholars at home and aboard have done much researching in Rough Set, put forward many models of it. Data mining technique based on Rough Set can be used for mining useful and interesting knowledge from large-scale databases; it solves the problem of big volumes of data with less useful information in MIS. The paper mainly studies the technology of data mining based on Rough Set, and its application in the system of quality inspection. The paper includes the following four parts:(1) The author firstly gives the current research of data mining and Rough Set and their basic theories, including: knowledge system, proximate classifying, reduction, decision-tree, discernible matrix, etc. And the method of attributes reduction based on Rough Set is also introduced.
