A Data Mining System Based On The Incremental Algorithm Of Rough Set Theory

Data mining(DM) is a promising and flourishing frontier in database systems and new database applications. Data mining is a multidisciplinary field, drawing work from many disciplines. There are some methods for data mining, and then Rough Sets methodology is one of important methods. This paper research a data mining system based on incremental updating algorithms of rough set theory. In this paper, rough set theory has been discussed, by the analysis and synthesis of data mining algorithm based on rough set theory, incremental updating algorithms based on attributes reduction and data reduction have been presented, and incremental updating algorithms for mining association rules have been discussed. The data mining system can discover association rules and decision rules. Incremental algorithms are used in the data mining system , which improves the efficiency of data mining and deduces the complex of time. The experimental results show that the algorithms above have been tested successfully.
