Environment simulation technology is a new developing peripheral technology, which mainly covers artificial man-made reappearance techniques of all kinds of nature environment and product test techniques under the simulated environment. Desertification is one of the most critical environment problems. Therefore there is much instructive significance and practical value for study desertification to achieve man-made desert environment recur to environment simulation technology.Firstly, the dissertation presents the design of automatic control system which consists of PC and PLC for the laboratory of desert environment simulation; Secondly, a dynamic discrete model is built by method of system identification technology, and Recursive Least-Squares method with forgetting factor is used to estimate parameters on line. Then this paper gives a design of feed-forward generalized minimum variance controller and proposes a scheme of temperature adaptive control implementation. Thirdly, Human Machine Interface (HMI) is given which are developed with King View (a kind of industry control configuration software). Finally, through MATLAB simulation demonstrates and verifies the control performance of the proposed self-tuning control in comparison with the traditionally designed PID control.Simulation results show that the proposed self-tuning control has good adaptive performances, anti-jamming and high accuracy. The experimental result of PID control proves the necessity of new control scheme, and the proposed self-tuning control in this thesis is content to temperature control of the laboratory of desert environment simulation.
