The development and combination of computing technology and wireless communication technology make a kind of brand-new calculation mode become reality - the mobile computing mode. Under the enviroment of mobile computing, user use the portable computer to realize visit to information network through the wireless communication interface, and wasn't influenced by the changed of the actual physics position.Mobile computing and unique characteristic make traditional database technology unable to support the mobile computing environment effectively. So must to mend or redesign traditional database, form a kind of database technology that can support the mobile computing environment in an all round way , that is Mobile Database .Transaction processing is a basic function of the database management system , it is used for maintaining the consistency of the data mainly, support the multi-user's concurrency visit, make user can query and update the database reliably. It is demand that mobile database system offer transaction processing ability too, in order to meet the mobile applied requirement. On account of the particularity of mobile computing environment, it is necessary to consider the question which needn't consider in traditional computing environment in designing mobile database system, such as mobility of the client, frequent disconnecting , weak connection, switching in different areas and so on. So how make server process mobile transaction perfectly, namely solve the above-mentioned key technology problem of mobile transaction and become a very important research subject.The main goal of this subject is design a mobile transaction model and transaction processing agreement , which can support the mobility, frequent disconnecting and data consistency of mobile transaction. Author consider mobile computing environmental confine and restriction on the mobile database transaction management, imbibe the experience of thepast mobile transaction model, such as kangaroo transaction model and pre-write/read transaction model, proposed FM-Que mobile transaction model. FM-Que model is a three-tier system framework of client/mobile-agent/server, dividing mobile transaction that client send out into fix subtransaction and mobile subtransaction, and adopt transaction queue mechanism to support transaction mobility and frequent disconnect effectively on mobile-agent tier and client, adopt multi-edition and pre-commit mode to maintain data consistency.
