The main goal of research on Semantic Web is to expand the current Web and make the data on Web bear clear meaning in order that computer can understand and deal with them. Ontology locates in the fourth layer of the Semantic Web structure, which is the crucial technology that makes Web have the semantic nature. With the increasing number of ontologies, in order to achieve knowledge reuse and sharing among different ontologies, it is necessary that mapping be established among ontologies. Furthermore, the key of establishing mapping lies in finding entity pairs that are the same or similar in concept. Semantic measurement technology can well weigh the degree of similarity between two entities, and thus is of great benefit to establishing mapping.The thesis makes studies on ontology mapping technology based on semantic measurement, which mainly involves the following parts:The thesis draws conclusion and makes analysis of correlative theories about semantic measurement and ontology mapping respectively, and probes into the possibility of combining the two technologies.It also carries on the analysis of semantic level on ontology based on RDFS, puts forward methods of similarity and relativity measurement under settings of identical ontology and different ontologies, and provides arithmetic description and concrete examples.The thesis explores ontology mapping technologies, and proposes a mapping approach of repeated circulation based on semantic measurement.Lastly, based on the above work, the thesis validates the possibility of RDFS semantic intellectual query based on ontology, and advances a plan of carrying on semantic intellectual retrieval among different ontologies by means of query mapping technology.
