A new CDMA receiver that combing multistage parallel interference cancellation and antenna array as an multiuser detection method is given.First, discusses several typical multiuser detection, analyzes their realization complicity and advantage and disadvantage, draws the conclusion that parallel interference cancellation still has its superiority when put the calculate complicity and performance both under consideration. Secondly, introduces the LMS algorithm of adaptive antenna array, analyzes its performance of resisting multipath effect, according to the computer simulation this detector has an obvious strength, and the more the antenna array the better the performance. Then the paper introduces an improved nonlinear interference cancellation scheme for CDMA that significantly reduces the degrading effect on the desired user of interference from the other users that share the channel. The implementation complexity of this scheme is linear in the number of users and operates on the fact that parallel processing simultaneously removes each user a part of the interference produced by the remaining users accessing the channel the amount being proportional to their reliability. At last, the receiver for direct-sequence spread-spectrum multi-access that incorporates multipath diversity combining and multistage co-channel interference cancellation is proposed. With the assumption that perfect channel estimates have been obtained by using RAKE receiver. According to MMSE direction, the weights can be found by adaptive algorithms, that is used to combing the soft-decision output user data after multistage parallel interference cancellation processing and antenna array receiving. The computer simulation result is given, it explains the good performance of this receiver to resist multipath effect.
