| VoIP is the technology that lets go voice through IP packets and, in definitive through Internet. This paper presents the architecture of Modularization Interface Equipment as a vital part of an Integrated Communication System in Enterprise Size, which provided by certain enterprise, and which bases on the technology of VoIP in Enterprise Size. It acts as a terminal of this system, or an interface linking the analog communication equipment and the Ethernet, to function of network interface, discrete signal process, voice A/D, D/A and mix. This paper first outlines the characteristic and advantage of VoIP, following a description of this system infrastructure and the equipment, at next focusing on the hardware and software of the equipment. The design of hardware parts and the application of interfaces in the equipment are introduced in detail in hardware section, and the software divided into two mainly parts is expounded layered according to the process of data transfer in software section. And then provides the technology problems involved in when carrying out the system of VoIP and solutions adopted in the equipment. At last, some suggestions about improving this system are given. |
