Study And Realization Of Configuration Management In OMC System Of TMN Based On J2EE

The communications network management system is a new intelligent technology in communications industry. It mainly uses commercial standard protocols and information interface to exchange management information. The main purpose is to make full use of the network resource of telecom, improve the quality and efficiency, and provide good service to the customers. TMN provides an integrated solution for implementing the target of the telecom network.The paper bases itself upon the corporation, deeply studies the frame of J2EE and the criterion of TMN. It studies the system of ZTE network management, and empolders the part of Configuration Management which based on the material software product of network management.The OMC of ZTE corporation bases on the frame of J2EE and combines with the "manager/agent" thinking of TMN. It contains Fault Management, Security Management, Performance Management,Configuration Management and System Management. Thereinto CM is to manage the configuration data of the whole network equipment and updating the version of the software module and state checking and installation. CM collects data from every Network Element in order to control the NE. It emphasizes particularly on checking validity and rationality of the configuration data of the software and hardware in the whole web. And it realizes local data management,Router management,equipment management,cell and frequency management et al. The electronic map is the background of CM, which shows the distributing of the swich,Base Station Controller,Base Station and the cell in the whole network. The map can manage and show all kinds of configuration information of NE directly visually and dynamic, which also has the function of find by sort and statistic and printing all kinds of configuration data that can be ensured the correctitude and rationality. In term of the frame OMC contains UEP, CAF and business application. CAF relates to three key technologies: abstract database, auto-transform the structure of forward and backward data, interface auto-generate technology. Interface auto-generate technology is developed and used by the team of CAF-CM, and this paper mainly studies and realizes it during developing the function of CAF-CM.CAF-CM uses XML to describe the content of the interface, and parse XML to show the interface via interface auto-generate technology. That makes developing the interface easier and the corresponding program more maintainability and intelligibility. Interface auto-generate technology provides the self-contained function of event handling. It encapsules rationally event listener of the interface component. User inherits simply some methods, and may realize the corresponding function of event handling.Interface auto-generate technology can help the developer to develop the mutual interface fast and lighten the workload of them greatly. The result of this paper has been extended and used in the network management system of ZTE corporation.
