Analyzing And Designing Of Network Attacking & Defence Platform

Along with the rapid development of Internet, the importance of infomation security are also increased, more and more attentions are paid to the information security education. Under this circumstances, teachers and researchers need network simulator which can be suitable for education and research. We propose a simulator module- "Network Attacking & Defence Platform" in this paper, which can meet the foregoing requirements.In the beginning of this paper, a network simulator architecture with mutillayer and strong extensibility is proposed based on analyzing current literature and silulators. Next we devide the system into several modules based on object-oriented technique and descript the interfaces among these modules. After that, we introduce the designing and realizer theory about some important dummy components, such as the hub, the host, the firewall, the router and so on.Finally, on the basis of analyzing the shortage of the Network Attack&Defence Platform, we make a goal of future work to improve the performance of the system.
