Turbo Coding And Equalization Technique In Wireless Communication

An important breakthrough in the history of channel coding was the discovery of Turbo codes, which leads to researches on Turbo coding technique in communication system. This paper is closely focused on Turbo coding technique, firstly introduced the basic idea of Turbo codes and its coding and decoding principles, and presented the simulation and analysis of Turbo codes. Secondly, combined with TCM modulation, presented the structure of the coding and decoding, and simulated the performance of the symbol-by- symbol MAP algorithm, the result shows that Turbo TCM not only have good performance, but also improve the bandwidth efficiency. Finally, also combined with the equalization technique in wireless communication system, presented Turbo Equalization system, and simulated and compared the equalization algorithm that often used.
