The Study And Development Of Network Management Based On High Speed Ethernet

Industrial Ethernet has been the focus in current control field, people attempt to use Ethernet to unify fieldbus standard. High Speed Ethernet (HSE) provides specifications for a cost-effective, high-speed, plant-wide network for process control using commercial off the shelf (COTS) Ethernet hardware and software. HSE running at 100 Mbit/s is intended for use in process automation, while also providing information integration with plant management and MIS systems.The network management system proves the control system work well, and proves the control system make good use of the network resource. The network management system should prove the control system meet the requirement of stability, real-time ability, safety, veracity. So the network management becomes one of the focus tasks in the industrial Ethernet field.The network management of HSE Fieldbus is used as the study object in this paper. This paper deeply studied TCP/IP protocols management, HSE user protocols management, HSE LAN redundancy management. A method of network management that consists of centralized mode plus distributed mode is put forward in this paper. The method to implement HSE network management system based on the analysis of the HSE protocols is another part of this paper.Firstly, this paper introduced the latest information of control system then analyzed the points of the industrial Ethernet, and then put forward the key problem to use network management in industrial Ethernet control network. Secondly this paper put forward a method that consists of centralized mode plus distributed mode, which based on the HSE protocols and analysis of network management. Modularization is another characteristic in HSE. This paper provided the project of the network management modes in the HSE, such as the project of TCP/IP protocols management mode, the project of user protocols management mode, the project of HSE LAN redundancy management mode. At last, this paper summarizes the whole work and prospects the later work.
