The Implementation Of Cable Digital TV Of The Small And Medium-sized TV Stations

The small and medium-sized TV stations are important parts of the broadcast&TV system of our country. The popularization and development of the digital TV transmission technology need the participation and push of the small and medium-sized TV stations. In the early experimental period, because the digital TV system equipments were from the other countries, the cost was so high. Thus, it gave the example that the construction of the digital TV system needs the vast investment. The small and medium-sized TV stations are limited by their economic and technology conditions, so they hardly participate the construction of the digital TV. This makes against the popularization and development of the digital TV transmission technology. In this paper the significance and the principle about building the digital TV system are given. From the point of view of author, this paper discusses how to implement the digital TV project depending on the conditions of small and medium-sized TV stations. On the other hand, this paper also introduces the system schemes about YunTianHua TV Station's cable digital TV system. Through the analysis and compare between the digital TV system and the analog TV system, the author studies some features about the digital TV system. In the meantime, the author discusses how to maintain the digital TV system and how to manage the digital TV system. So the other small and medium-sized TV stations may get some of the references about how to implement the cable digital TV projects.
