The Design And Implementation Of Communication-Oriented Embedded Software Platform

Embedded software and embedded software system have become new hot point in software field . How to develop application software efficiently in embedded system is a key question. Embedded software platform can supports software developing in embedded system and reduces engineer' s workload, which makes engineers concentrate on the design of application system. It is very important to construct embedded software platform, which accords with embedded software technology development direction. Embedded software platform will support uniform developing platform for all embedded application software, so engineers only know and apply the interface that the platform provides, them needn' t understand bottom operating system. So the software developing efficiency will be.increased more highly.This paper presents an embedded software platform in communication fields. The platform is based on embedded real-time operating system, it masks the difference between various operating system and provides a uniform interface beyond it. The platform also provides some supporting software module specially designed for communication application. Based on embedded software development platform, the design and realization of the upper application software is very simple, at the same time the application software can be transplanted conveniently.To realize the functions, in my paper I have introduced detailedly such things as follows:1) OS adapter module2) Memory management module3) Timer management module4) Schedule management module5) Task communication module6) System monitor module7) Ability test of the whole platformThe communication-oriented embedded software platform has already verified on CDMA Base Station System and Router, and Platform has been transplanted successfully to ZTE communication corporation ADSL equipments.
