Impletmentation Of Linux FireWall Remote Management System

Because of advantages of open source, Linux system had already become one of hotspots in university and software company's eyes. At the same time, the new generation Linux firewall-Netfilter had been used more and more widely because of its reasonable structure and powerful function.Firstly, this article analyzed the problems that information and network had been confronted with, and research production of domestic and overseas on firewall's management. Behind stated the reason of designing this management system, I introduced several innovations: the management of based B/S mode, constructed on new generation firewall-Netfilter, and adopted SSL protocol for security authentication.In chapter 2 of this article, I introduced some knowledge about firewall and network management. And then in chapter 3,1 presented the mode of designing a based Web firewall management system on Netfilter. I analyzed at length each module behind states brief the flow of the management system. The system contains five modules: security authentication, user access control, log record, server control, and client interface. Especially, I introduced at length the encrypting information method by SSL technology in security authentication module.Finally, I summarized the shortage of this management system, and presented research direction in my next work.
