Gartner claims in a research paper released in June of 03: Advise users to use IPS to replace IDS.IPS develops from the Firewall and Intrusion Detection System to, now it is still at primary stage studying and realizing. The research contents of this text include the following several respects:1) Further investigated two kinds of most important measures in network security: Firewall and intrusion detection system, including theirs development and concept, principle and classification, etc. Research direction of this text is proposed to IPS that has just risen on this basis, research and realization of concentrating control system in Intrusion Protection.2) Concentrating control system adopted the way based on WBM (Web Based Management) to control and manage, security threat that WBM receive had been analyzed, adopt identity authentication technology of One-Time Password to make sure security of the system, two kinds of algorithms of One-Time Password have been studied and realized.
