Research On Vision Coordinate Measuring Machine Model

At modern times, in industrial detection and modeling technologies, there are lots of parameters of 3D information and some correlatives, such as space position, shape, size, displacement and distortion, need to be measure. As a 3D measurement technology, based on 3D vision and optical imaging theory, vision coordinates measurement is widely used in industrial 3D measurement, virtual reality modeling and reversing engineering fields due to some advantages such as non-contact, high parallel measuring speed and high precision.The study on model is the basic part of VCMM, and also the hard core of measuring procedure. The study on VCMM helps us to understand the structure and measuring patterns. According to different measure objects, we can choose different measuring model to process, consequently to improve the measuring speed, accuracy and stability.During the procedure of measurement, there are fixed processes for the measure objects. In other words, we have to choose different measuring patterns applying to different measure objects, therefore we have to study on the model of vision coordinates measuring machine (VCMM) to ensure the measuring procedure on different objects.Generally, the measuring model of VCMM can be separated into two kinds include plain move measure model and rotate measure model. Any kind measuring procedures of different measure objects is composed by the two kinds measuring model. In this paper, we classify the measure objects, although not so detailed, but it's helpful for us to understand the VCMM measuring model. We also talk out the two kinds of measuring models of measuring procedure, and build up the mathematics model, and then apply the computing models to our experiments.The objective of this paper is, referring to the existing CMM and measuring methods of VCMM systems, studying on the measuring model and method of popular VCMM to help us understanding the structure and measuring pattern of VCMM, and improve it.This paper aims to study base on single camera VCMM, according to its measuring model and movement modes, makes use of multi images to find out the commonness between single camera and double or multiple camera model, and work out the mathematics computing model.
