With the rapid development of our country's network education, the long-distance teaching based on network has become one kind of new educational form, it has become one of hot topics in the current long-distance educational studies. Although the network education has made rapid progress and acquired great experience, there still has some defect, it mainly manifests in following three aspects, firstly, the understanding to long-distance educational platform is insufficient. The traditional ideas often attach importance to the exploitation of a single network curriculum or network courseware, but neglect the function of network instruction platform. As a mature network educational platform, it should have the important function of developing network curriculum, implementing teaching, managing course and supporting study service. Secondly, the educational model in the network teaching is unitary, lacks to the teaching activity's support. At present, the problem that network teaching encountered is attaching importance to the presents and explanation of course content, whereas, despising teaching environment design and the teaching activity design. Specially, it lacks the design of highly effective intercommunion. Most prominent contradiction was the network instruction technical achievement has exceeded its theoretic achievement. In other words, the network education used advanced technology still follow the old teaching idea and the teaching method, which the network instruction has not displayed all its effective potential that it should have. Thirdly, the network instruction lacks the highly effective monitoring design. It is superficial to the study of management and monitoring design in the network. Strengthening the network study of the process control and the management research will play an important role to the development of network instruction.This paper gets some solutions to the question mentioned above. Firstly, author analyze the present common network educational model, synthesize its advantage and disadvantage in theoretical. Make some device synthesizing the teacher leadingpattern, self—regulated learning pattern and problem based learning pattern, applying together to the network teaching platform, which it will be the theoretical base of this educational platform. Secondly, design a teaching platform based on three kind of educational model mentioned above. This platform has three kinds of roles, three kinds of educational models as well as six functions modules, and some correlative subprograms to corresponding role. This platform has the function of developing network curriculum, implementing teaching, managing course and supporting study service. Finally, author had made a concrete network educational platform with ASP+SQLSERVER, through practicing, confirm it have good educational effect.At present, there are lots of common educational models in the network environment. It conclude instructing pattern, self—regulated learning pattern, exploration study pattern, cooperation study pattern, the discussion pattern and so on. Most of them come from traditional educational model, and combined the modern network technology. It not only has the advantage of traditional pattern, but has characteristic of informational education. In this regard, the network multimedia technology taking into counted; it provides lots of personality choices and enriches the educational method for us. Although mere are lots of network educational models, author come down to mainly three kind of pattern— the teacher leading pattern, self —regulated learning pattern and problem based learning pattern. These three kinds of patterns synthesize the mainly advantage and character of common pattern. Combine them together may reach different level, different background learner's demand.Teacher instructing pattern is the primarily educational model. It is the mutation of the traditional "transfer and receive"model in net environment. This pattern emphasized teacher's leading role extremely, it put the materials that prepared before use into the platform, according to the network platform's material organizational form, organizes all kinds of teaching material. Present the course content gradually according to the certain order. This kind of educational pattern has the advantage of loading massive information and the study time is relatively flexible. The shortcoming is the lack of interaction and individuality instruction.The self—regulated learning based on the resources is the pattern that students can study independent on the support service system which provides environment. Students can study their own view actively. This kind of pattern reflects the study characteristic of emotion, activity, tactical. In this cognitive process, the teacher's function is instructing the students to carry on the independent study effectively, checking whether the students complete the study task on time, and urging the student to obtain new knowledge, with this progress, students could absorb knowledge, and obtain the ability of study on time. Finally, develop the student's ability hormonally.The problem based learning is the pattern that through solving the problem, student could obtain the knowledge hiding behind the question. It can make the learner to form the criticalness thought, and obtain the independent study skill, and the ability of study. It possess the characteristic that make the learner as the center, take the question as the center, take the group as the team, thought the teacher as the instruction, The goal is raising the student's ability of solve the question, raising the learner's lifelong learning capability.In practice, in order to realize the conceive of the multi-educational model, the multi-functional teaching platform, author design a platform that contain the function of developing curriculum, managing teaching and the student's learning. This platform has the roles of manager, teacher and students. The role of manager has the right of management curriculum and user's jurisdiction. The role of teacher has the right of manage the teaching content. The role of student may use each kind of study pattern to carry out study. In the overall, according to the different type function, this platform is divided into six modules, for example, it include user administration module, the curriculum teaching management and the PBL question administration module, the practice test module, the interactive system module, the assistance study module and the monitoring appraisal module and so on. Each module is divided into foreground application and the background one. Background applications have the function of carry out designing, developing and managing network curriculum designed for manger and teacher. Foreground application serve for the student, provides each kind of study pattern, students could select every pattern they favor. The curriculum teaching management and the PBL question administration module is the most important part of this platform. Realize that three kinds of educational models concretely, to different educational model, teacher and manager could develop and manage different kinds of teaching content. This platform facilitated the students as well as teacher greatly.This platform use ASP+SQLSERVER technology, this platform is built in WINDOWS IIS. These technologies have the following characteristic: Using the MD5 encryption technology, store the username and password in the database by the way of encryption, guarantee system security. Through the SQLSERVER relation of the table, the system could guarantee not have any redundant data in the database by the means of maintaining data automation. Using store process and trigger function, the system performance will be enhanced. Modeling the function of dividing page and database connection could facility development process to large extends.The main contribution of this thesis is summarizing three kinds of representational network educational model that extracted from the common models, and apply them to the multifunction platform optimum.
