The Research On Syndication System Of Web Learning Content Based On RSS

Going with the development of computer and information technology, internet becomes important learning space. Not only does the internet ofer abundant learning content, but also brings a series of problems. Facing the disorderly and unsystematic, tremendous amount of information, how to filtrate and conformity the knowledge being useful to self is a difficult problem. The essential reason is that the web learning content is absent of uniform format at present. Therefore, this paper tries to introduce the concept of content syndication and push technology of web content to the area of learning content development.There are five parts in this thesis: In the introduction part, the background, main task and meaning of the research are discussed. In chapter one, the author introduces what RSS is, the history of RSS and the specification of RSS. In this chapter, the author also compares the methods how to organize the learning content now being used. In chapter two, the author discusses the main applications of RSS in education and it's nature, which provides the basic ideas how to develop an RSS-based web learning content syndication system (RSS-based WLCSS). The learning process based on RSS is under description in chapter three. Finally, in the last chapter, chapter 4, the design and development of RSS-based WLCSS are introduced, including its conception model, structure and the main functional modules.
