Digital University is the high target of institutions of higher learning's Information Construction. By integrating teaching, scientific research, management and other service resources, Digital University establishes an uniform digital space and extends the University and highly improves the didactical quality, scientific research level and management level, and forms an environment for cultivating high capability students.Currently, the challenge of Digital University Construction focuses on how to exert the predominance of campus network and how to integrate the distributed but self-governed information resource, and provide a dynamic and consistent information services.Web Services provides a distributed computing technology for building an incompact coupling system. Web Services Stacks consists of Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Web Services Description Language (WSDL), Universal Description, Discovery and Integration (UDDI) and other technologies and protocols.This paper introduces XML Web Services into Digital University Construction and brings forward an integration pattern for existing diverse information systems. This pattern can span the application system's different object model, platform and language boundary. Web Services offers a technology tier and neutral approach for integrating applications. Each diverse system can use Web Services to encapsulation, issue their applications and access other system's services, so as to construct an efficient, secure, incompact coupling and highly integrative sharing space.The Digital University integration pattern use J2EE Technology to build up a steady and efficient environment, and use J2EE for Web Services Technology to provide interoperability for existing application system. This paper analyses the interrelated and dispersive data resource in University official workflow, and divides them into different subsets and forms a general database system. Constitute the database maintenance strategy and introduce Web Services technology. Each existent system can use integration platform's web services to duly and automatically update relevant data and ensure the general database system's data consistency and data integrality.
