With the era of information ,the step of the city life has become faster and faster, the conflict between the city transportation and economic development is gradually become acute, however, this problem can't be solved completely only in terms of the improvement of the road condition and vehicles. In nowadays China, and it's also not practice concerning about the present economic environment as well as the limitation of location .the traditional method of controlling the traffic is not about to solve the problem efficiently. This paper is to deal with simulation modeling of traffic systems and the method of traffic control, and to carry on some theory research and discussion of simulation modeling method and signal control for two intersections. Firstly, on the basic of modeling for means of transportation on freeway using multi-agents, the coordination between two cars is realized. Secondly, some deep research is carried on traffic modeling for two intersection on the middle-scopical level and the design is realized using Delphi; Thirdly, this paper carries on the deeper theory research and discussion or the communication, forecast and negotiation between traffic objects in multi-agent model. In the end, the control method combining the genetic algorithm and multi-agent control method is used in the traffic control. The efficiency of this control method is proved by computer simulation, so they have practical value. The paper presents the negotiation of the cars in the freeway using multi-agents and the optimization of the traffic lights. All the research work done here will surely benefit to the further research and even to the application of ITS(Intelligence Transportation System) in the future.
