Research On Fuzzy Database Base On Vague Set

Traditional database is based on two value logic and precise data; it can't represent many obscure objects. As the theoretical foundation of fuzzy mathematics has set up, people can describe fuzzy things and make fuzzy operations with quantity relations. Fuzzy database is a database which can handle fuzzy information; it is an important research direction in the field of database, and provides an important way for the management of the imprecise, incomplete and fuzzy information, so it has not only important theoretical values, but also practical ones. The vague set is an extension of fuzzy set, it have rich expressive power to deal with fuzzy information, but only a few to do in the field of fuzzy relational database. At present fuzzy database technology is based on fuzzy set of L.A.Zadeh, because vague set is more powerful than fuzzy set in the expressive power of fuzzy information, fuzzy database on vague set has a bright future. First of all, this paper investigates research status of fuzzy relational database and properties of vague set, and then puts forward a generalized fuzzy relational data model on vague set (VGFRDM) and a fuzzy database structured query language on vague set (VFSQL). In addition, this paper discusses the design of fuzzy database management system on vague set.
