The three-dimensional reconstruction model is widely used in the fields of CAD,reverse engineering, pattern identify, the artwork reconstruction, digital amusement (game, animation and film ). In recent years, with the development of laser scanning technology, three-dimensional model from laser scan range data is extensive applied in the fields of digital ancient building, preservation of cultural relic. The dissertation combining the Beijing three dimensional space information comprehensive serve system of Beijing key item, pay more attention to two key technologies: the registration of range picture and the construction model from laser scan data. The major contribution of this dissertation is as follows:1) according to the format of laser scanning data, suggest the method that search the corresponding point in known vicinage region , seeks new nearly corresponding point, accelerates register speed. It is out of order that traditional ICP algorithm is regard point set as, every time near corresponding point seek in the entire point set. It is time-consuming. The dissertation basis the laser scan data organization form of two dimension grids, the three-dimensional point directly relation to vicinage region point, the new corresponding point will produce from the neighbor region. Therefore local search the new pair points in the neighbor region of known corresponding point, raise the efficiency of algorithm. It is improvement and optimization traditional ICP algorithm.2) For the point cloud after registration, draw the edge of scan object, then carries out three-dimensional model reconstruction in CAD system. Now based on the three-dimensional reconstruction of point cloud, it is to make three-dimensional surface grid model through some algorithm. This kind of method can be suitable for small object , but is nearly impossible to be successful for greater object as building. The dissertation has tried to draw the outline line point of the scan object, then in autoCAD system with the interaction of human-computer, three-dimensional geometry model reconstruction from the three dimensional point cloud data.For the method of above discussion, the dissertation test it in building scanning data. Experiment results shows that has obtain certain accomplishment in the aspect of the registration of range data and the reconstruction three-dimensional model.
