The Job Management System Based On Cluster Technology

The Job Management System is based on the cluster technology .By connecting the distributed , isomorphic, self-governed computers and special devices via the network, it try to accomplish the goal to build an efficient resource management model and to form a distributed computing environment which has large throughputs and high performance. This thesis is based on a special Job Management System — CJMSS and accomplishes some research on the system structure, the job dispatching strategies , the high usability strategies and the internationalization process of the Job Management System. The work is listed in the following:1. Summarized the history and the trend of the Job Management System; refined the hiberarchy model and application model of Job Management System ; analyzed the system structure of CJMSS according to the hiberarchy of Job Management System.2. Accomplished the research on the two layer dispatching strategies; analyzed the dispatching process and strategies of the Job Networks and requests in CJMSS; worked out a new request dispatching algorithm for multiple machines. The algorithm applied a mechanism like the "hotel reservation" and could reduce the unnecessary data moving , release the load of the network and enhance the efficiency of the systemo3. Analyzed the high usability problem of CJMSS in detail; introduced the method of the hardware configuration and software configuration of ClusterPro; analyzed the mode of the execution of jobs when some faults existed in CJMSS; refined out the algorithm of the process of taking over and recovery after failure.4. Introduced the main technologies and requests of the software internationalization; summarized the problems in the process of the reconstruction of resource dynamic libraries , rules of the codes and time zone; worked out the solutions of some problems.Now the enhanced request dispatching algorithm for multiple machines has been confirmed on a small system and a satisfying result is got; The high usability strategy based on ClusterPro has been applied in the commercial version of CJMSS; The multi-language version of CJMSS has passed the tests on multiple platforms andthe system runs stably and correctly.
