One approach to achieving high performance in database management system is to store the working data in main memory . In this paper we propose a structure of storage manager which composes three parts: Exporter, Memory Manager and Loader. The primary principle of the storage manager is Direct Access to Data. A number of technologies had evolved with the storage manager such as T-tree index structure, approved memory exchange strategy and shadow memory working area. Storage manager load data to memory which is often used. When applications request data they do not access to disk, memory instead. So the storage manager provides good performance.
