As a part of Digital Earth, geological reconstruction has its special importance. The most difficult work is to design both a good mathematical model and a series of efficient algorithms based on the mathematical model. This paper presents a new mathematical model which belongs to a cluster of surface model. Based on this mathematical model, a new algorithm for geological reconstruction is come up, which exactly handles some geological phenomenon such as layer's disappearance, break away, pucker etc. Also, a new algorithm for cutting three-dimension structure is created, which is an important foundation of cutting-surface analysis. Test based on a set of real geological data is carried out, the result shows that presented algorithms is accurate and efficient both for geological reconstruction and for three-dimension cutting. Besides, a few new algorithms are presented, which is for mesh generation and mesh cutting based on surface model. They are analyzed and compared with classical algorithms for mesh generation and mesh cutting. The result shows that presented algorithm for mesh generation is easier to parallel, and algorithm for mesh cutting is more accurate and easier to realize, while their efficiency can match with classical algorithms.
